Privlaka is an idyllic fishing village on the Adriatic coast, located about 5 km northwest of the ancient royal town of Nin and 22 km from Zadar. The small peninsula of Privlaka is located on the outskirts where the Dalmatian karst turns into the sandy countryside of northern Dalmatia.
The first written report on Privlace comes from the 13th century. Many archaeological sites from the unimaginable 20,000 years p.l. reveals our old history.
It is a popular tourist spot because one of the few sandy beaches in Croatia is located here. The beautiful sandy beaches, mysterious coves and shallow warm sea are the ideal place for your rest and spending your holiday. Privlas is also a port on which the depth of the sea is about 3 meters. In the mountains north of Privlaka is the Croatian National Park Paklenica. You can expect up to 2 550 hours of sunshine per year in Privlace.
The air saturated with the aromas of ethereal herbs and healing black mud are suitable for treating health problems - asthma, rheumatism, arthritis. In Privlaka there are many nice restaurants, bars, taverns, cafes, a market and lots of exchange offices.
